A Day at Magic Kingdom – September 1, 2020

I went to Magic Kingdom with some friends on Tuesday!

We arrived at Magic Kingdom at 8:55 am and headed toward Tomorrowland.

Tomorrowland was pretty empty in the morning. We rode Buzz Lightyear, Carousel of Progress, Space Mountain, and Tomorrowland Speedway.

Next, we rode Little Mermaid, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and Winnie the Pooh. We watched Philharmagic and rode Peter Pan’s Flight and it’s a small world. Then we went on The Haunted Mansion.

We walked over to Frontierland and rode Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

We went to Pecos Bill to get lunch. While our orders were processing, we saw the Princess Processional go by. We also saw some Country Bears on the roof of their theater. I ordered the veggie rice bowl and lemonade.

Next, we went on Splash Mountain. Then we walked over to Adventureland and went on Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, the Enchanted Tiki Room. We sat down to eat ice cream from Sunshine Tree Terrace and Aloha Isle. Then we walked through the Swiss Family Treehouse. Walking by the Crystal Palace restaurant, I saw Eeyore, Piglet, and Rabbit from Winnie the Pooh.

On our way out of the park, we walked through the Emporium and looked at the new Halloween merchandise. I spotted some new yellow and orange mouse ears.

A Day at Animal Kingdom – August 18, 2020

I went to Animal Kingdom recently. Here’s a description of my day in the park.

First, I rode Dinosaur. The wait time was posted at 5 minutes, but I walked onto the ride. I had the whole vehicle to myself.

Next, I went on Expedition Everest, and it was also a walk-on. I was in the back car.

Next, I went on Kali River Rapids. There were four other people in the raft with me. I got a little wet, but it actually felt refreshing.

I walked through the Maharajah Jungle Trek. I saw one tiger sleeping in the bushes.

Next, I went on Kilimanjaro Safaris. I saw a lot of zebras, hippos, and giraffes. There were two lions sleeping and three elephants.

I took the train to Rafiki’s Planet Watch. At 11:30 am, I went to the Animation Experience. The seats were spaced out. The group drew Zazu from The Lion King.

Next, I got an iced coffee from Starbucks. Then I went to Pandora for lunch at Satuli Canteen.

I rode Flight of Passage and Navi River Journey. They both had wait times around 20 minutes.

I walked around the Tree of Life trails. I saw the otters and lemurs in their exhibits.

I decided to watch It’s Tough to be a Bug for the first time in years. I was afraid of the show as a kid, and seeing it as an adult I felt much better about the experience. The seats were spaced out in the theater.

I tried to watch the bird show, but there was lightning in the area, so they cancelled it.

I looked around the gift shops in the front of the park, then I left at about 3 pm.
